NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(b)(2) set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Contracting Department intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for services related to Uninterrupted Power Supply system maintenance to Eaton Corporation, 8609 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC, 27616-2966. See the attached sole source justification for additional information regarding the sole source determination. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. All responsible sources may submit a quote, proposal, or bid that shall be considered by the NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Contracting Office. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
