THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, SURVIVAL SYSTEMS USA INC; Cage Code: 1LDF2, IAW FAR 13.106(b)(1). The proposed acquisition is for the Multi-place Egress Training System (METS) 9D6 braking system repair parts: AIR CYLINDER ASSEMBLY STAINLESS STEEL - M30, M40 (Part 07-16517); LOWER BRAKE PLATE ASSEMBLY - M30, 40 (Part 07-1206) and SHIPPING (Part SHIP). The NAICS Code is 811310 and the PSC is 3590 - Miscellaneous Service and Trade Equipment. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05 are incorporated. It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at: https://www.acquisition.gov/. Proposals are not being accepted in response to this document. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, BUMED/FM and C Directorate intends to acquire on a sole source basis supply via Firm Fixed Price contract. The awarded contract for the above requirement is for a commercial supply for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to future similar requirements; however, this notice is not intended to be a request for competitive quotations from any source. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on response received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
