The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit on a unrestricted basis, a requirement to provide JAGMANUAL Investigations and Malpractice Claims Review and Analysis and Risk Management and Quality Program Support in support of the Naval Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) located at Falls Church, VA. It is anticipated that a Firm, Fixed Price type contract will be awarded as a result of this acquisition. The anticipated contract will have a 12-month base Period of performance commencing 15 January 2025, with three (3) 12-month option periods, if exercised. The current requirement is being satisfied under contract N0018920PZ046. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This is an announcement only; a formal solicitation will be forthcoming. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This notice and the subsequent RFP SHALL be posted on both SAM.gov and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/. The reference number is N0018925RZ043. The proposed contract action is for commercial services, in accordance with the statement of work. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541990 with a small business size standard of $19.5 million Upon its release the solicitation will be issued electronically via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (http://www.neco.navy.mil/) and Sam (https://sam.gov/). Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the RFP and any amendments thereto. It is anticipated that the solicitation could be released on or after 11/26/2024. The closing date for the receipt of quotes will be set forth in the RFQ. Quoters MUST be registered in the System for Award Management to be considered for award. See https://www.sam.gov for further information and instructions.
