NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department Groton office intends to solicit a single-award contract with firm-fixed-price provisions for VISC Support services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) incorporated within Solicitation N0018925QG126. Service location will be at Naval Submarine Support Facility located at Naval Submarine Base New London Groton, CT. This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13.5. The NAICS code is 541922 and the solicitation is being advertised as a total small business set-aside. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all applicable amendments issued will be in electronic form. Vendors are required to return a signed solicitation and any required and supporting documents to larissa.v.benoit.civ(at)us.navy.mil. Any questions shall be sent electronically to the identified email address aforementioned. DO NOT SUBMIT ANY DOCUMENTS VIA NECO as it is not guaranteed that it will be successfully routed to the correct channels. Vendors that submit thru NECO will not be guaranteed that their package will be fully received or received at all which can cause their submission to be disqualified. All responsible sources interested in submitting a response shall be registered in SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any resultant contract from the expected solicitation. Lack of an active SAM registration in the SAM database will automatically make an offer ineligible for award. Payment will be submitted thru Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Vendor are required to have a Secret Facility clearance and an existing Secret clearance for all personnel employees that will work under the resultant contract.
