Synopsis for Solicitation number N0018925Q0268 (Cummin Engine Parts) The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for a Cummin main diesel generator and emergency generator spare parts. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement covers the performance requirements for TSV5 Vindicator’s four (4) Cummins QSK60, main diesel generators and one (1) Cummins KTA19, emergency diesel generator. This requirement is brand name and the justification will be posted with the combined synopsis/solicitation. The requirement will be solicited on 6 May 2025. The supply that will be procured consists of the following: All supplies or services must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with the existing main diesel generators and the emergency diesel generator that are presently installed and performing. Deviation from the OEM for replacement parts would result in replacement of the main diesel generators and the emergency diesel generator. Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in beta.SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award.
