The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department intends to solicit – on behalf of the Navy Munitions Command Atlantic (NMCLANT) – Harpoon Booster Section Shipping Containers. A current Performance-Oriented Packaging (POP) certification including drop, stacking, and vibration testing for this Harpoon Booster Section crate configuration (see below for drawing no. and specifications) is required to be provided in order for a quoter to be considered for award. Vendors must certify that they can deliver the required items within 6 weeks of the date of contract. The proposed acquisition will result in a firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order.
