SYNOPSIS: THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is synopsis/solicitation is for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on the Government Point of Entry at www.sam.gov. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Norfolk (FLCN) Contracting Department, BUMED/FM and C Directorate intends to procure, on a sole source basis, replacement of AV/VTC equipment that have reached End-of-Life (EOL) in three rooms located at 4170 Norman Scott Rd., San Diego, CA 92136 IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source. It is the intent of the government to award a firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order to Blue Tech, Inc in support of the Naval Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP) Head Quarters for the above listed services. The solicitation number is N0018924QZ447 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. This solicitation documents incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-03 (effective 23 February 2024) and DFARS Publication Notice 20240215 (effective 15 February 2024). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The applicable NAICS code and size standard is 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) and $34.0 millions of dollars, respectively. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 7E20 (IT and Telecom - End User: Help Desk; Tier 1-2, Workspace, Print, Output, Productivity Tools (Hw/Perp Sw)). The intention to solicit and negotiate on a sole source, firm fixed price basis will follow procedures in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). This is a follow-on effort of previous acquisition of AV/VTC equipment for replacement of EOL products. Performance is anticipated to begin on Monday 16 September 2024. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to perform the stated requirements attached hereto via the submission. Information received by the closing response date will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
