The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with the University of California, San Diego to provide Cadaver Bodies to Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC) detachment Surface Warfare Medical Institute (SWMI). The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Price type order. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with University of California, San Diego under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 621991. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 27 October 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
