Synopsis for Solicitation Number N0018924Q0627 (Rubb Propeller Tents) The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for Rubb Propeller Tents. The brand name justification will be attached when posted to SAM.gov. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement covers the procurement of Rubb Propeller Tents. The requirement will be solicited on 5 August 2024. The items that will be procured consists of the following: 3 Rubb Prop Cover (28' Diameter / 6'H), 1 lifting sling, and Non-union installation for the Marine Corps logistics base Barstow Yermo-ANNEX, Barstow, CA 92311-5049. The required shelters are designed and built according to ordered dimensions and shapes, with proprietary, treated fabric and steel frames, and installed by manufacturer trained technicians to ensure military standards for structural integrity, safety and longevity are upheld. The requested material represents the minimum requirements of the government. The required tents are to be uniform with the preexisting tents. Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332311 – Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing. The Size Standard is 750 (# of employees).
