The Contracting Department received multiple quotes from various vendors during the solicitation. Because of this, the Contracting Department determined that the acquisition could not be solicited on a sole source basis, and shall be resolicited on a brand name basis. The proposed acquisition is for the renewal of an annual subscription to NI Labview for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(i). This requirement will be solicited on a sole source basis with approval from the Small Business Administration to National Instruments, Corp. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
