This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The RFQ number is N0018924Q0333. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-05 (effective 22 May 2024) and DFARS Publication Notice 20240530 (effective 30 May 2024). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 611430 and the Small Business Standard is $15 Million. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with only one source, L3 Technologies, Inc. This combined synopsis/solicitation procurement is for commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5 and FAR Part 12. Furthermore, this procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified acquisition procedures – a sole source acquisition using simplified action procedures for the acquisition of commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The proposed contract action if for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and award a Sole Source single award of a firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated.
