The United States Naval Academy (USNA) Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) is responsible for developing, managing and integrating information systems and providing information technology products, services and capabilities for approximately 7,000 midshipmen, faculty and staff across the academy’s 630-acre campus and for the approximately 300 midshipmen candidates, faculty and staff at the Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) located in Newport R.I. The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC)Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392, intends to solicit and award a commercial firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of network surveillance cameras, and physical access software in support of The United States Naval Academy (USNA). The proposed contract action is for a brand name only. The brand name and model number of the product(s) are: AXIS and Genetec software. In accordance with FAR 5.102 (a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached. See statement of work for additional details. As noted above, this requirement is to procure network surveillance cameras and physical access security software.
