THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS: The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Philadelphia Contracting Office intends to procure Material Handling Equipment (MHE) maintenance services in support of NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS), Code N009 manages warehouses and supplies for the Navy Nuclear Reactor Program (NNRP), which is a part of the Nuclear Fleet. In order to support the NNRP, Code N009 stores these supplies, which are housed on various shelves in warehouses. These supplies can only be accessed through the use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). In order to retrieve the supplies and ship them to the submarines and nuclear carriers, MHE is necessary as is the preventative maintenance of this equipment to keep it operational. The applicable NAICS code is 811310. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $12.5M. It is the Government’s intent to award a single, firm-fixed price purchase order on an unrestricted basis using FAR Part 13 procedures. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and may submit information that shall be considered by NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Philadelphia Contracting Office. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. These responses shall be received no later than 12:00 PM EST on 17 July 2023.
