The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN), Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for supplies. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the instant procurement on a sole source basis to U.S. Naval Institute (CAGE: 0N740), other than small business of Annapolis, MD pursuant to the procedures of FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. The sole source nature of this requirement is based on the determination that NIP is the only publisher of textbooks, eBooks and publications that are in the NIP catalog, which are currently available for teaching Naval Science courses in the NROTC/NJROTC programs. The requirement is being processed on behalf of the Naval Service Training Command (NSTC). See attachments for more information.
