The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUPSYSCOM) Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office intends to solicit and award a single-award contract with firm-fixed-price provisions for submarine camel overhaul and repair services, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) incorporated within the solicitation N0018923QG063. The requirement is in support of Naval Submarine Base Port Operations Department at Groton, CT. This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5. The primary place of performance is the vendor’s facility. The vendor is responsible for the transport of the camels to and from the vendor’s facility and the Naval Submarine Base New London Groton, CT. This synopsis shall be posted on the System of Award (SAM) website. The RFQ number is N0018923QG063. The NAICS code is 237990. This requirement is being advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources interested in submitting a response shall be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through the final payment of any resultant contract from the expected solicitation.
