NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Groton, CT Office intends award a Full and Open, Firm Fixed-Price a Single Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Delivery of Compressed Industrial Gases to include Bottle Rental Services for Naval Submarine Support Facility (NSSF) R-1 Division aboard Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT 06349. The acquisition consists of (5)year ordering periods and (1)six-month option. The required period of performance is from 01 May 2023 to 31 October 2029. The subject service will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Subpart Part 16.504 - Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 325120. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 31 March 2023 at www.SAM.gov. Potential vendors shall submit Solicitation N0018923QG049 and applicable amendments in accordance with the incorporated Instructions to Quoters and send via email attachment to sharon.j.dexter.civ@us.navy.mil and sharon.dexter@navy.mil. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.
