Buildings 196 and 46 Provide equipment, materials, and labor for the installation of (1) 24 strand OS2 OSP rated fiber optic cable between buildings 196 and 46 at the Washington Navy Yard approximately 3000’. Installation will utilize existing pathways. Terminate, test, and label fiber optic cable per Navy Yard standards. Building 57 Provide labor to install 13 – Cat 6 4 pair voice drops from the 1st floor telecom closet to the 2nd cloor. Install all cables per the base and industry standards. All cables will run throught he drop ceiling from the comm room to the drop locations. Supplemental j-hooks will be installed above the drop ceiling to support the new cabling. Modular furniture will be accessed by means of a hole plate and spiral wrap form the nearest wall or power/comm poles with communication plates provided by others. All jack location will be terminated into a 4-port faceplate with blanks to accommodate future cabling for other networks. On the existing plywood, termination the voice cables on 66 blocks. Machine label all cables per the customer’s specification Test all cable to industry standard and deliver an electronic copy upon completion.
