The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract and will utilize procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, FAR Part 13, and FAR 19.502-2 Total small business set-asides. This requirement will be solicited as 100% Small Business Set-aside. The Government intends to procure four years of contractor service in the support of Naval Air Station Norfolk and Naval Air Station Oceana for scale calibration services. The primary objectives of this effort are to provide calibration services twice a year with six month intervals (January and July). The service provider shall provide a technician who is eligible to access government installations for inspection/calibration. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, the Product Service Code is H999, and the size standard is $30 million dollars. The anticipated date of the award is on or about 01 December 2022. The anticipated start date of performance is 01 January 2023 and ending 30 December 2023, plus four 12-month options and FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, to continue through 30 June 2028. The place of performance will be Naval Air Station Norfolk Building SP-86 452 Warehouse Street Norfolk Virginia 23511 and Naval Air Station Oceana Building 720 1999 7th Street Virginia Beach, Virginia 23460. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying they are not currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to consider the quote for award. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
