This is a Request for Information (RFI) in anticipation of a potential future procurement program under NAICS code 611430-Professional and Management Development Training. Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, this announcement constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This RFI is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Naval Supply System Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN) is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest to provide Competent Person Fall Protection (CPFP) Course which covers areas in Afloat, Ashore and Aviation Safety to uniformed personnel and civilians working for the U.S. Government in support of the Navy Safety and Environmental Training Center’s (NAVSAFENVTRACEN) mission. The support required under this anticipated procurement is included in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The requirement anticipates up to 50 trainings per 12-months across all locations, or approximately 25 per West and 25 per East. The Government anticipates 1 or 2 Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract(s) with Firm, Fixed-Price (FFP) provisions.
