This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented by FAR 13.5, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N0018922QZ181 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are provided as an attachment to this synopsis. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 effective May 1, 2022. This procurement is set-aside for small business only. The applicable NAICS Code/Size is 334515 and the small business size standard is 750 people. This requirement is the procurement of one High-resolution, high-accuracy laser wavelength meter that can determine the wavelength of an infrared laser. This purchase is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. REQUIREMENT: The contract line item number, item description, and quantity as follows: CLIN 0001 - One Each, High-resolution, high-accuracy laser wavelength meter (wavemeter) that can determine the wavelength of an infrared laser. We require the following performance: - Wavelength range of 550nm - 1700nm - Resolution of 0.1pm or better - Accuracy of plus/minus 0.75ppm or better (150MHz at 1550nm or better) - Fiber-coupled input Price submitted shall be F.O.B. Destination. Delivery will be made to the U.S. Naval Observatory, Washington D.C. within 120 days from the date of the order.
