NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office requires software and hardware support with backup correlator capability in accordance with USNO and Navy Information Assurance guidelines and requirements for the Washington Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) Correlator. The contractor will provide engineering support for the U.S Naval Observatory’s DiFX Interagency Correlator. The Correlator is essential for meeting the mission requirement of providing hi-precision Earth Orientation for the Department of Defense (DOD). The proposed procurement is being processed as a sole source requirement to Associated University. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541990. This procurement is being conducted, using FAR Subpart 13.5 – Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The anticipated performance period is 23 May 2022 through 22 May 2023, with four, one-year option periods. For additional information please see attached Justifications and Approval.
