The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Governemnt intends to solicit and negotiate a competitive, firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order under the authority of FAR part 13. The associated NAICS code is 337127 with a small business size standard of 500. The Government will award on the basis of price unless the contracting officer is aware of past performance information related to the low price quote/offer which indicates that quote/offer may not represent best value. In that case, the Government reserves the right to consider the past performance of other quotes/offers, conduct a price, past performance tradeoff, and award to other than the lowest price quote/offer. There will be a site visit on 20 July 2022 at 0900 AM EDT at the place of performance provided below. Email the Contract Specialist, Benjamin Cady, by 19 July 2022 at 0900 AM EDT at Benjamin.m.cady.civ@us.navy.mil if interested in a site visit. Additionally, vendors shall not ask questions to the site visit POC in regards to the requirement during the site visit. Any questions regarding the requirement shall be directed to the Contract Specialist, via email, after the scheduled site visit. In order to ensure that all questions submitted by potential Quoters are answered prior to the solicitation closing date, questions concerning the solicitation should be submitted via email to Benjamin Cady, benjamin.m.cady.civ@us.navy.mil NO LATER THAN 0900 (EDT), on 21 July 2022. The Government reserves the right not to respond to any questions received concerning this solicitation after the questions receipt date above.
