NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Groton, CT Office intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price service contract to provide Usher Services for (3) concert performances to be held at DAR Constitution Hall located at 1776 D Street NW, Washington, DC 20006. The vendor shall provide Usher Services to include (1) House Manager, (1) Supervisor and (13) Doorman for all three (3) concert performances - Two (2) concert performances will occur on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. (1500) and 8:00 p.m (2000) Eastern Time and the final concert performance will occur Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. (1500), ET. All vendor personnel shall report for duty at the concert venue 90 minutes prior to the concert performance time. The subject service will be acquired in accorance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The required period of performance begins 18 December 2021 through 19 December 2021 from contract award. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 711320. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 26 November 2021 at the following websites: https://www.neco.navy.mil and www.beta.SAM.gov on 01 December 2021. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments directly to the solicitation will ONLY be available at the above websites. Potential vendors shall submit Soliciation N0018922QG009 and applicable amendments in accordance with the Instructions to Quoters and send via email attachment to sharon.dexter@navy.mil and sharon.j.dexter.civ@us.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifing that niether the requestor nor the principal corporation officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performaned outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
