The Contracting Department, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistic Center, Norfolk(FLCN) intends to negotiate a Sole-Source Firm Fixed-Price contract utilizing procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 - SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures. The resulting contract is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to an authorized vendor/service provider of Eaton Corporation products and services. The Government intends to procure replacement batteries in the support of the Naval Information Forces Facility (NAVIFOR) in Suffolk, VA. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335311. The anticipated date of the award is on or about 27 September 2022.The anticipated start date of performance is within 30 days of award. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. NOTE: ONLY EATON AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS/RESELLERS/SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. NON-AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS/RESELLERS/SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE FURTHER EVALUATED. Only responsive quotations received prior to the closing date and time of the solicitation, and conforming to the instructions and the Request for Quotation, will be considered for award. By submitting a quotation, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer.By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation, if any result, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.
