The Naval Ice Center (NAVICE) require Airborne Expendable Ice Beacon (AXIB) II Buoys to support the NAVICE mission in the sparse sensing environment of the Polar Regions. This supply will directly support meeting the objectives of maritime Artic domain awareness by providing AXIB II Buoys that are capable of ship or air deployments to survive in a seasonal ice zone and meet the requirements of the International Artic Buoy Program to support this mission. The contractor shall provide AXIB II Buoys that meet the requirements and salient characteristics as listed in Attachment I, N0018922Q0336. The Product Service Code is 2050- Buoys and the NAICS is 334513- Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables.
