This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 and simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N0018922Q0170 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-05. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 923110. Small business size standards are not established for this NAICS sector. The Product Service Code is R699. The anticipated award date is no later than 01 May 2022. This requirement is Sole Sourced to Genki Japanese & Culture School for services to accommodate a six-week Japanese language program in Kyoto, Japan per the attached sole sourced justification. The United States Naval Academy requires a Japanese language study abroad program in Kyoto, Japan that will accommodate for 15 students during the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Summer block of 2022 under the USNA Language and Cultural Development program. The placement of a firm fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order will be awarded to cover a total of six (6) weeks of services from 14 May 2022 through 25 June 2022. This action is considered a new request and will be utilizing gift funds. See attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for details. The required delivery is 13 days after award of contract.
