NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under the statutory authority 41.U.S.C. 1903 set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for repair services for Hyster Lift units to Gregory Poole Equipment Company, 4807 Beryl Rd, Raleigh, NC, 27606-1406, US. See attached sole source justification for additional information regarding the sole source determination. This notice of intent in NOT a request for proposals or quotations. All responsible sources may submit a quote, proposal, or bid that shall be considered by the NAVSUP FLCN Contracting Office. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
