The Bureau and Medicine and Surgery, 8955 Wood Road, Bethesda MD is updating their current the Rimage system which requires Life Cycle Management. This system provides the BUMED Media Production Department with digital video production, processing, duplicating and archiving. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, as implemented by FAR 13.501 (a), a Sole Source Acquisition. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. Award of a firm fixed contract is anticipated. All required deliverables shall be furnished within 1 year after date of contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard for this procurement is 512110 and 500 employees respectively. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all challenges to this sole source determination received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
