This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR 13.106-1(b) (1), using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR 13 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N0018921Q0332. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-94 (effective 19 Jan 2017) and DFARS Publication Notice 20161222 (effective 22 Dec 2016). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 532289 and the Small Business Standard is $8 Million. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract. This requirement is set aside for Small Businesses only. The Small Business Office concurs with the set-aside decision. Only Small Businesses are eligible for this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. All bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk requests responses from qualified sources capable of services in support of the homecoming event of the USS Dwight D Eisenhower (CVN69) 7/15/2021-7/19/2021. Contractor will provide delivery, set-up, and take down of various supplies and services requested to support the ship’s Return to Homeport. Please see attachment for Reception Requirements The Delivery date is 15 July 2021. Delivery Location is Pier 14, Naval Station Norfolk and QP1 Parking Lot, Naval Station Norfolk. Responsibility and Inspection: FOB Destination unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. Quoters are reminded to include a completed copy of 52.212-3 and its ALT I with quotes. All clauses shall be incorporated by reference in the order.
