THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS: The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics center (FLC) Norfolk, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit Small Business’s for Lean Six Sigma support services in support Navy Medicine Operations at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED). The contractor shall provide project management, mentorship of belts, and support of the Belt Development Program. The primary place of performance for this effort shall be: BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY 7700 ARLINGTON BLVD. FALLS CHURCH, VA 22042-2799 It is anticipated that the resultant solicitation will result in a purchase order issued on a firm fixed price (FFP) basis. The anticipated base performance period will be 01 October 2021 through 30 September 2022 and will include four (4) one-year option periods, as well as one (1) six-month option extension in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 611430. This requirement is being set aside for Small Business concerns and will be processed in accordance with FAR 13.5 and 19.1405. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and may submit information that shall be considered by NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Philadelphia Office. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or before 08 April 2021. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The Government will neither award a contract nor pay for information in response to this notice. Any responses to this synopsis should be sent to the attention of William Stevenson at william.p.stevenson@navy.mil, these responses shall be received no later than 5:00 PM EST on 24 March 2021. Additional information for this requirement will be listed in the solicitation upon its release, which is anticipated to be on or before 08 April 2021 to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (www.neco.navy.mil). Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for award.
