USNO requires two Auxiliary Output Generators that have a minimum of 10ns resolution that are comparable to Microsemi’s AOG 110 with adjustable tic-to-phase relationship allowing for the ability to provide superior time and frequency to users while greatly increasing recovery time in the case of an equipment failure anywhere in the two auxiliary output generators. The generators must include additional RF output frequencies (10MHz and 100MHz) with comparable quality to that of the MHM2020 Active Hydrogen Maser. Furthermore the microprocessor and I/O must be able to be upgraded to allow for increased cybersecurity through improved control.
