Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought Notice The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means to conduct market research to identify interested parties for the requirement to procure the following recycling and reclamation equipment: Item No Description Qty 7252262 RO-2262-TC 30 yards Cable Hook-up Tough Box 5 Tough Box 40 Yard Tough Box 35 Recycler 30 Yard Recycler w/ Slots 10 Octagon 40 Yard Octagon Receiver 1 Sealed Container 30 Yard Sealed Container w/ Tarp 1 Shipping cost 1 Delivery to: Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 Important Note: See Attachment 1 for detailed specification of above recycling and reclamation equipment Required Delivery Date: 6-8 weeks. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The NAICS code for this requirement is anticipated to be 332439 - Other Metal Container Manufacturing. The Product Service Code is 4540-Waste Disposal Equipment. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred. If your organization has the capability of providing above recycling and reclamation equipment, please provide the following information: 1. Full business name, street address, website address, point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address 2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) code and DUNS number. 3. Size of business: Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone, Woman-owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, or other category 4. If the items can be obtained from a GSA schedule, existing IDIQ or any other contract vehicle, please provide the applicable contract number. 5. Capability statement showing contractor’s ability to provide minimum requirements. Any potential contract resulting from this RFI/Sources Sought Notice is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. This is a new requirement. Submission Reponses should reference recycling and reclamation equipment and shall be submitted by e-mail to Tito Getalla at tito.getalla@navy.mil by 10:00 a.m. Eastern time on 14 July 2021. Again, this is not a request for proposals. Respondents will not be notified of the results. Please note that the information within this RFI/Sources Sought Notice may be updated and/or may change prior to an official solicitation, if any, is issued.
