NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Hampton Rubber Company, 4571 Village Ave, Norfolk, VA 23502 (Cage Code:1RDT0) on a Sole Source Basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1 (b)(1)(I), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract deem only one source reasonable available. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only authorized vendor capable of providing the required supplies. Therefore, the government intends to procure these supplies on a sole source basis from Hampton Rubber Company.
