NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Groton, CT Office intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price a semi-annual maintenance contract for (11) Belt Driven Air Compressors and (2) Air Dryers located in several building and locations for Naval Submarine Support Facility aboard Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT 06349. The subject service will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance begins 01 September 2021 to 28 February 2027 from contract award. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 811310. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 04 June 2021 at www.SAM.gov. Potential vendors shall submit solicitation N0018921QG076 and applicable amendments in accordance with the incorporated Instructions to Quoters and send via email attachment to sharon.dexter@navy.mil. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.
