The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for OEM level weapons maintenance services for The Naval Surface Force, Atlantic (CNSL). Policies and procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 811212. The size standard is $30 million. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with only one source InVeris Training Solutions, Inc. (Formerly MEGGITT) under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The Small Business Office concurs with this determination. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE SOLICITATION IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. Once available, the solicitation will be posted to this site, sam.gov. The solicitation is expected to be available on or about 24 August 2021. The Naval Surface Force, Atlantic (CNSL) requires Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) repair services for over 100 currently owned and operating simulator weapons compatible with InVeris Training Systems (InVeris) model M7, M100, and M100LE, Small Arms Weapons Systems (SAWS). A complete RFQ package will be available by downloading the documents at the SAM Website as follows: www.sam.gov or FEDBIZOPPS at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or around 24 August 2021. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
