This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-04 (effective 30 Apr 2024) and DFARS Publication Notice 20240430 (effective 30 APR 2024). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with only one source, Oceaneering International, Inc. This combined synopsis/solicitation procurement is for commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5 and FAR Part 12. Furthermore, this procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified acquisition procedures – a sole source acquisition using simplified action procedures for the acquisition of commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The proposed contract action if for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and award a Sole Source single award of a firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated.
