The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392, intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract for 6 customized immersion heaters from Chromalox. Delivery will be within 30 days of award. This action will be conducted using the commercial item procedures of FAR Part 12 and simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13. The statutory authority for this sole source purchase is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is sole source only. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. As a result, this requirement will not be set aside for small business concerns. The activity’s small business office concurs with this determination. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 333414. The size standard is 500. The Product Service Code is 4520. The anticipated award date is no later than 27 July 2021. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
