The Contracting Department, Naval Supply Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, 1968 Gilbert Street, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 (NAVSUP FLC Norfolk) intends to negotiate a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract for repairs to industrial shelter covers as required by the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS) activity at Cheatham Annex in Williamsburg, Virginia. The prospective Request for Quotation (RFQ) and resulting contract will be performed on a sole-source basis, utilizing procedures under FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commmercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The basis for the use of other than full and open competition is that the required repairs are for existing items manufactured and serviced only by the Rubb USA manufacturer. SEE SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION IN ATTACHMENTS. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 14 July 2021 by downloading documents at SAM.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332311 - Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing, and the Product & Service Code (PSC) is J054 - Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment, Prefabricated Structures and Scaffolding.
