The Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for procurement of an Aerosol 3D Jet Printer in support of the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Microfabrication labratory under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Optomec, Inc. The authority for use of other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Anticipated posting of solicitation # N0018921Q0315 to beta.sam.gov on or around 08/02/2021. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 333244. The size standard is 750 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
