The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to negotiate a services contract to provide maintenance and support for AV-VTC systems/equipment utilizing the procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 19.502-2 Total Small Business Set-asides. The Government intends to procure contractor service in the support of Naval Ocean Processing Facility (NOPF) Dam Neck 352 Bullpup Street BLDG 470 Virginia Beach, VA 23461. A firm fixed price contract with a one year base and four one-year options periods is anticipated. The primary objective is to provide technical support services for AV-VTC system/equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811213. The anticipated date of the award is on or about 01-27-2021 The anticipated start date of performance is 02-01-2021 This presolicitation notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 01-8-2021, by downloading the documents at the Beta.sam website as follows: https://beta.sam.gov/. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying they are not currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to consider the quote for award. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
