Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought Notice Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, titled “Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes,” this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice for qualified and experienced sources to provide supplies and services to support Military Ceremonial Events. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This sources sought notice is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Government has determined that these supplies and services are commercial items as defined in FAR 2.101. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this RFI/Sources Sought Notice. Scope This proposed contract is to acquire support for the ceremonial events of the Commander Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA), Commercial Activities division. Rental supplies and services include but are not limited to: • Tents o Tent sizes vary from 10’X10’ to 60’X240’ • Tent weights • Tent sidewalls • Tent lights • Propane heaters • Fans • 20KW generator • Stage w/ red carpet • Podiums • Portable toilets • Passenger golf carts • Assorted chairs • Portable PA system • Professional PA system • Assorted tables w/ linen • Pole/drape • Fancy linen • Coat rack • Trash cans w/ skirt • 50 state flags • Handicap ramp • Portable bar • French doors • Delivery • Set up of rental supplies • Breakdown and removal of rental supplies The contractor shall provide a capability statement that states whether they are able to provide services in accordance with the attached Sample Statement of Work (SOW). The anticipated period of performance is a base year of 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020, four (4) one-year option periods and FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall include the following information in this format: 1. Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and email address. 2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 3. Size of business- Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned and/or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business. 4. Capability statement displaying the contractor’s ability to provide the minimum requirements to include past performance. If past performance information is provided, please include only relevant past performance on the same/similar work within the last 5 years. Please also include in the past performance information the contract numbers, dollar value, and period of performance for each contract referenced in the response to this sources sought. 5. Please include any questions or concerns you have in regards to this requirement. 6. Include any other supporting documentation. Submissions are to be no more than 10 single-spaced pages and no less than 12 point font. Respondents will not be notified the results and the Government is not required to answer any questions submitted in regards to this sources sought notice.
