NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 1903 set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NAVSUP FLCN intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for supplies related to Small Arms Weapons Simulator (SAWS) pistols to Meggitt Training Systems, Inc. (MTSI), 296 Brogdon Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024-1247. See the attached sole source justification for additional information regarding the sole source determination. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotoation that shall be considered by the NAVSUP FLCN Contracting Office. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
