This is a sole source combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2; using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for purchase orders at FAR Part 13 and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The government intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis with Ritter Communications. This sole source synopsis solicitation SHALL be posted on NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil) and uploaded onto betaSAM. The RFQ number is N00189-20-Q-Z338. This is the only RFQ for this requirement and it includes all the terms and conditions as well as applicable FAR, DFARS, and NMCARS clauses and provisions with respect to the anticipated purchase order. It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 517312 and the Small Business Standard is 1500 employees. This requirement is necessary to provide wireless cable connection for five (5) NPC buildings. This service will be used to improve the Navy sailor’s ability to view and download necessary applications without utilizing their personal cell phone data plans. This commercial wireless service allows for multiple teleconferences to commence. . This requirement is intended to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Ritter Communications of Millington, TN. The anticipated contract type is a firm-fixed-price. The period of performance for these services includes one annual base period with four annual options. This is not a request for quotes. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
