SURFACE WARFARE SCHOOLS COMAND (SWSC) requires two sanitizing machine with drying capabilities and an additional dryer to treat five Fire Fighting Ensembles (FFE) at a time. One sanitizer/dryer will be delivered to Naval Station Norfolk and the other will be delivered to Naval Station San Diego. Two additional dryers will also be purchased; one for Norfolk and the other for San Diego. The FFE is used for training purposes. The SWSC wants to purchase this equipment in order to be able to clean the gear faster to maintain its training schedule demands. The sanitizing unit needs to be able to destroy 92 to 95% of pathogens, be made of stainless steel, have a cabinet ramp entry system with a scarecrow hanging design and use an ozone based colony forming unit (CFU) killing dry air treatment. The sanitizers and dryers shall become Government equipment.
