The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA intends to solicit a single award, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) CLINs as a competitive total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for “Fire Protection and Life Safety Course” for the Naval Environmental Training Center (NAVSAFETRACEN), Norfolk, VA. Performance is anticipated to begin 06 June 2020 inclusive of a five (5) year ordering period through 05 June 2025. This instant requirement will have a provision for a six (6) month extension in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-8 “Option to Extend Services.” As these services have been determined to be commercial, this acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR Sub-Part 13.5 entitled, “Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items” and Far Part 12 “Acquisition of Commercial Items”. The RFQ will require the submission of non-price as well as price/cost quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611430 – Professional and Management Development Training.; size standard is $12 million.
