This requirement will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for Sponson Replacement services to include the purchase of customized resources and supplies to repair the small boat. This solicitation will also be the purchase of labor for the repair of the Sponson in accordance with the Performance Work Statement included with the solicitation. The resulting contract will be solicited under the NAICS code of 336612. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website https://beta.sam.gov. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. "Basis of Award: The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price (FFP) Order resulting from this solicitation. Award will be made on all or none basis. Award shall be made to a single contractor. Quotes must include prices for each item listed in order that quotes may be properly evaluated. Failure to do so shall be cause for the quoter to be considered non-responsive. Award shall be made to that responsive, responsible quoter, and will be based on lowest price meeting technical specification and required delivery." The RFQ will be posted on or before 04 Feb 2020.
