This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. SHALL be posted to both the BETA SAM website (https://beta.sam.gov/) and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit – on behalf of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) – Thundercat Technology, LLC (CAGE: 50WM7) on a sole source basis. The proposed action is to acquire the flashpoint for two (2) OpeniO licenses via a modification to purchase order N00189-20-P-Z236. The sole source rationale is as follows: N00189-20-P-Z236 was awarded to Thundercat Technology, LLC on 28 July 2020 for OpeniO licenses and renewals in support of NCIS, totaling $537,907.50. In September 2020, NCIS informed the contracting office that two (2) of the licenses required flashpoint. Since the licenses requiring flashpoint were originally procured through purchase order N00189-20-P-Z236 and Thundercat Technology, LLC is currently providing the coverage period (through 28 May 2021) of the licenses, the proposed action is being processed on a sole source basis to Thundercat Technology, LLC. Any questions regarding this notice shall be addressed to Mr. Joseph Caltagirone who may be reached at 215-697-9687 or joseph.caltagirone@navy.mil.
