The Government awarded a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source, Single Award IDIQ contract to Nalco Company, LLC on 27 September 2017 for the procurement of thermal commodity chemicals used for water treatment, in support of Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic. The contract has a five year ordering period under the NAICS code of 325998. This is an update to a previously approved J&A. NAVFAC has required more supplies and has reached the ceiling faster than anticipated. NAVFAC will need additional ceiling in the amount of $2 million to cover the remainder of the period of performance.
