This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2022-04 and the most recent DFARS Publication Notice made effective 30 January 2022. The proposed contract is being solicited among authorized resellers of Micro Focus Scan Central Software and will be awarded on a brand name sole source basis. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for the Joint Staff (JS) to procure Micro Focus Scan Central Software maintenance (as a product). The contract for this requirement will be for commercial off the shelf supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only authorized resellers of Micro Focus. The sole source justification for this acquisition is included as Attachment I to this combined synopsis solicitation positing. The Government will not pay for information submitted in the response to this notice. The proposed contract will have a coverage period that is one-year in length, beginning 1 June 2022. It is intended to award a firm-fixed price contract. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.
