NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, on behalf of the Joint Staff, intends to acquire contractor support with the provision of five Clear Span Tents, ranging in size from as small as 6 meters by 12 meters up to 30 meters by 90 meters. Support entails the setup of tents at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida, during the 2022 Special Olympics in June 2022, on-site support during the event, daily clean up and maintenance as necessary, and eventual tear down of the tents upon event completion. The proposed procurement is being processed to allow for full-and-open competition. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 532490 with a size standard of $35M. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item, using FAR Part 13.5 – SAP-CI procedures. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be posted in March 2022. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the below mentioned website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. It is anticipated the Navy (in support of the Joint Staff) will solicit a single Firm, Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with an anticipated period of performance of 28 May 2022 to 17 June 2022. Interested vendors will be required to submit a price quote and non-price (technical) quote. The evaluation for contract award will consider the non-price volume of the quote to be more important than price. Additional information for this requirement will be listed in the solicitation upon its release, which is anticipated to be in March 2022, posted to the SAM.gov website. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for award.
